Potomac Module Crew's Railroad Shop - Setup Times Notes
The setup time list below is typical for most shows. New times will be posted only a week or two in advance, if the PMC Web Master gets the information. Special setup times and one time show will be posted in Special Notices page.
When stanchion are required, it is one stanchion per module.

Fairfax Station Annual Train Show (in December) at Fairfax Station, VA:
- Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Setup may start early then 6:30 pm
- Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
- Sunday, crew let in at 10:00 am, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- No Stanchions require due space.
- Park your car in Fairfax Station volunteer parking lot on Saturday and Sunday unless told otherwise.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.
- The layout size is locked due to permits requirements for this show.

Fairfax Station Spring Show (in May) at Fairfax Station, VA:
- Friday from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. only if the station has someone to open and close the station.
- Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Sunday, crew let in between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- No Stanchions require
- Park your car in Fairfax Station volunteer parking lot on Saturday and Sunday unless told otherwise.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.

Fairfax Station Labor Day Show at Fairfax Station, VA:
- Sunday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
- Monday, crew let in between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- No Stanchions require
- Park your car in Fairfax Station volunteer parking lot on Saturday and Sunday unless told otherwise.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.

Herndon Holiday Show at Herndon, VA:
- Art Space: Friday from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm. only if the Art Space is open
- City Hall: Friday from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Check with module coordinator.
- Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
- Sunday, crew let in at 11:00 am, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- Stanchions may be required but will depend on the layout design. Should be noted in e-mail listing.
- Art Space: Park your car across the street from the Art Space on Saturday and Sunday unless told otherwise.
- City Hall: Park your car across the street or in the City Hall parking lot around the corner on Saturday and Sunday unless told otherwise.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.

Greenberg's Train and Toy Show at Chantilly, VA:
- Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
- Saturday from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.
- Sunday, crew let in at 9:00 am, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- Stanchions are required.
- On Friday and Saturday: Unload at our spot in the building if possible, then move the car before you start setting up your module.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.
- A pass is required on Saturday and Sunday to get into the show.

Greenberg's Train and Toy Show at Fredericksburg, VA:
- Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
- Saturday from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.
- Sunday, crew let in at 9:00 am, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- Stanchions are required.
- On Friday and Saturday: Unload at our spot in the building if possible, then move the car before you start setting up your module.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.
- A pass is required on Saturday and Sunday to get into the show.

Manassas Railway Festival at Manassas, VA:
- Saturday from 7:00 am to 9:30 am, tear down after 4:00 pm. Pass parking require.
- Notes:
- Stanchions are required.
- Pass parking require.
- This show is outdoors under either a tent or Loy E. Harris Pavilion.
- This is one day show
- Unload at the tent or pavilion, then move the car to the parking deck before you start setting up your module.
- On tear down, pack up everything before fetching your car.
- Leveling the module for this show is not worth doing. There will be a grade on at least two sides weather under tent or pavilion.

Potomac Division Mini-Convention:
- Saturday from 6:30 am to 8:00 am, tear down after 3:00 pm.
- Notes:
- Stanchions are not required.
- Location varies from year to year. Any special notes on setup will be posted under "Special Notices"
- This is one day show
- Depending on the location, there many be many steps and narrow hallways / stair wells to negotiate.

The Lyceum at Alexandria, VA:
- *** We have not done this show since 2010 ***
- Friday setup may be possible if the room is not booked that night. Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
- Saturday from 7:30 am to 10:00 am, unless otherwise notes via e-mail.
- Sunday, crew let in at 11:00 am, tear down after 5:00 pm.
- Notes:
- Stanchions are required.
- This show is on the second floor so lifting up stairs is required. However, there is an handicap elevator available but it size is 48" long by 36" wide and weight limit of 500lbs. (Handicap elevator to be replace in September 2010)
- Also, the stairs are 4' wide and make 90 degree turns though 3'6 doors.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.

The Rockville Train Show at Rockville, MD:
- Friday from 5:00 or 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Saturday from 7:00 am to 9:30 am.
- Sunday, crew let in at 10:00 am, tear down after 4:00 pm.
- Notes:
- No Stanchions require due space unless otherwise noted in e-mail listing.
- Unload in front of the center (two doors that lead to large room) if possible, then move the car before you start setting up your module.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.
- Parking on Saturday and Sunday is on the side of handicap entrance in the grass area. Just follow the signs for participant parking.

The Boy Scout Show at Dale City, VA:
- Friday from 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Saturday from 7:00 am to 10:00 am.
- Sunday, crew let in at 7:00 am, tear down after 5:00 pm.
- Notes:
- No Stanchions require
- Unload in back of the school by the football feild, if possible, then move the car before you start setting up your module.
- On Sunday, pack up everything before fetching your car.

Stanchions requirements in general
- 1 - Each module (straight or corner) require one stanchion unless otherwise noted below.
- 2 - Modules that will not need stanchions:
- 2.1 - 1 foot long modules
- 2.1 - 2 foot long modules
- 2.3 - Module that extend into the center of the layout such as yard module.
